The base of the Rhino activated carbon filter is conical: this small detail ensures an even distribution of the airflow on the entire filter length.
To make sure, that the carbon stays at it's place and that there is a maximum possible contact area between the carbon and the air, the costume mesh is 51% open.
In the Rhino activated carbon filter, granulated RC412 activated carbon with a pore size of 0,02 micrometer and the average surface value of 1030m2/g is used. It is laying in a 50mm thick bed so tightly, that no free spaces can occure, which can retrench the optimal function.
Moreover there is a foam ring , which is condensed from 25.5mm to only 8mm. It is placed on top of the activated carbon and, if voids arise anyhow, the foam ring will extend and fill the free spaces straightaway.
Filter Size: ca. 260 x 1000mm
Weight: ca. 21.5 kg
Life span: 9 - 18 months
The Rhino activated carbon filter convinces with its low weight and small size, plus it's efficiency and long life span.
