Description
In the Rhino activated carbon filter, the airflow is evenly distributed on the entire filter length, because of its conical base.
On one hand the costum mesh has to ensure, that the carbon doesn't fall out, but on the other hand also a maximally possible contact area between air and carbon has to be supplied.
The Rhino activated carbon has a costume mesh which is 51% open and so the both claims are optimally fullfilled.
The granulated RC412 activated carbon, which is used for the Rhino activated carbon filter, has a pore size of 0,02 micrometer and the average surface value of 1030m2/g.
Tightly packed, the activated carbon lays in a 50mm thick bed. So no free hollow spaces can arise.
If there should occure spaces anyhow, because of vibration during the transport, e.g., there is a condensed foam ring on the top of the activated carbon, which will extend and fill the free spaces.
