Each important factor for plant cultivation under artificial light can be monitored by using measure equipment, to know the exact values at all time. Without measure equipment it would be impossible to create optimal circumstances. There are special instruments that are not only measing temperatures, but also pH values and EC values. Monitoring those is important when it comes to acid-base balance and nutrient concentration especially when you decide to specialize in cultivating hydroponic plants.
