This governor has got a dimmer function and is markedly versatile.
It can be used for lamps (without ballast), but also for fans, ventilators and heating mats, as long the 275 watt and the 1,25 ampere are not exceeded.
The governor is placed between the electrical connection, just like a timer switch. With the rotary knob you adjust the rotational speed, the brightness or the temperature.
However, you should consider that an engine can be down-regulated only once. That means, a ventilator with three stages should operate at the highest stage, as well as a fan.
