This ebb and flow table inlay is especially suitable for the cloning of cuttings and needs two holes: one hole with 2cm Ø and the other with 3cm Ø.
To drill those holes without getting the plastic to burst, you should use a quick-helix drill.
For an extra charge we can drill those holes for you:
For in- and outlet: 4€
For the outlet: 3€
Just leave a short note regarding the wanted bore in the commentary field that pops up at the end of your order.
If no note is left behind, you automatically receive the untreated table inlay.
These holes are crucial, because we need an inflow and an outflow at the flood tables. You have to connect both holes with one hose each. Through the inflow you flood the table until all plants are watered. The mat of inorganic fibre (garden fleece) that you put underneath the plants before gets wet as well. And then the water goes back down through the outflow (ebb).
If some of the roots are without coverage they now take dampness from the mat. Without the mat they would be in danger to dry up quickly, because the level of evaporation is very high in the heat of a growbox.
With this procedure you can irrigate bigger areals more evenly. Each plant recieves the same amount of water.
Some growers prefer to drill only one hole and then let the water go in and out through the same hose, through the same hole. You can do that, too, if you wish. In that case you do not need an extra outflow and no second hose.
Unfortunately the flow table inlay has very big dimensions, so the shipping will cost more than the normal charge, because we have to ship it with a bulk surcharge. Please ask us before ordering this product to avoid any misunderstandings. But these charges are only to be paid once when you order more than one of this item.
For this flow table inlay we recommend the suitable fitting to control the water supply with an included secure spill.
We have constructed an instruction for the correct supply and spill mountage. Click here to download the PDF-File.
